Evolène, with it’s dialect, it’s costumes, it’s carnaval, it’s traditions, it’s sun- bronzed, larchwood barns all contribute to making it one of Switzerland’s most beautiful villages. Michel and his family welcome you to the campsite at Evolène, in the heart of the Valaisan Alps.

The campsite is on a slightly undulating and grassy terrain, which offers a magnificent view of the mountains. During your stay at the Camping Evolène, you will be able to alternate great outdoor challenges with more tranquil activities. With it’s micro-climate, it’s prestigious mountains, it’s vast intact glaciers,it’s protected species of both fauna and flora, the Evolène region offers a captivating return to nature. An extensive hiking trail network with attractive Suonen trails (as explanation: a so-called Suon means a small stream) belongs to Unterbächs highlights in summer. A suspension bridge has been added to the offer since 2022. On hot days, the small play and bathing lake "Seepark Augstbord" offers the longed-for cooling.

With the chairlift you can reach the Brandalp from the village in a short time at 1600 m above sea level.

But even bikers will get everything they need.

It’s just a 5-minute walk to the ski resort, which is guaranteed to have snow and reaches an altitude of 2,500 metres above sea level; it’s particularly popular with families with children, not least because of the rare queues. The Unterbäch Ski and Snowboard School has qualified instructors who will be happy to help you improve your skiing and snowboarding skills. The ‘Swiss Snow Kids Village’ features a magic carpet, seesaws, jumps and rails, as well as a ski carousel.

Thanks to its convenient location, Unterbäch is also an ideal starting point for excursions.

The alternative hotel. The "Hôtellerie Franciscaine" is a hotel business run by the Capucin order of monks. It is adjacent to the 17th century monastery, separated only by the large vegetable garden. The "Hôtellerie" consists in 42 rooms / 69 beds with bath, telephone and wi-fi connection in a quiet and peaceful location, inviting to rest and relaxation.

The "Hôtellerie" caters for a clientele that values simplicity and warm hospitality. Meals are taken at guests tables and there is a limited room-cleaning service during a stay.

Electricity and hot water are produced by our own solar power plant and water pump. The jam is home-made and most of the vegetables come from our garden. A TV room, terrace and private parking for 29 cars round off the range of amenities.

The Hotels also has eight fully equipped conference rooms.

Guesthouse Berggeist offers quality accommodation in an ideal location in Saas-Fee, without unnecessary services and at reasonable prices. 

We focus on the essentials. Our spacious rooms are all equipped with a fridge and an electric kettle, as well as free Wi-Fi. Free tea is available in our Service Corner in the staircase.

 We do not offer breakfast. Upon prior reservation, it is possible to have breakfast at the neighboring Hotel Les Amis (limited availability). The bakery across the street is open daily from 6am.

Check-in is online and you can get your key from the key box or at the reception in Hotel Les Amis.

House Bella Vista is located in the car-free village of Riederalp, at 1,950 metres above sea level. They are right next to the ski slopes and hiking trails, and 150 metres from the cable car. The spacious apartments offer panoramic views of the Valais Alps.

Each apartment is furnished in a modern Alpine style and features a kitchen with a dining area, a living room with a TV, and a bathroom. Most have a balcony. Guests can use a ski and bicycle storage room.
 The Bella Vista Apartment is only accessible by cable car from Mörel or Ried Mörel. In summer, free transfers to and from the Riederalp cable car station are offered. Shops and restaurant are 400 metres away. Free WIFI in the apartment, streaming option on TV set.

The Rhodania House enjoys a prime location on the car-free Riederalp, just a five-minute walk from the cable car station and the Coop supermarket. Thanks to the mostly level access, you can easily reach your holiday apartment without any significant uphill climbs.

In winter, you benefit from true ski-in, ski-out convenience. The ski slope, the Alpenrose beginners’ area, and the ski school are located directly next to the building. The cross-country skiing trails also start right outside the front door. In summer, this area becomes the highest 9-hole golf course in Europe.

The Rhodania House offers two modern, renovated holiday apartments accommodating 1 to 5 guests. Both apartments are easily accessible by lift and feature stunning panoramic views of the Valais Alps. On clear days, you can even admire the iconic Matterhorn.

At House Caroline, we offer two studios and one holiday apartment. The house is situated in a quiet location, just a short walk from restaurants, ski slopes, and mountain lifts. With us, you're in the heart of it instead of just being there. The Edelweiss Alpine Residence is located in the center of Riederalp. In front of the house is the ski school meeting point and next to it is a children’s ski lift. The perfect location for your dream holiday. 

In winter, you put on your skis in front of your front door, go to the lifts and from the slopes directly back to the house. - without walking a step. It couldn't be more ideal. In summer, you have the same advantage. You can start hiking directly from your house, no bus or car is needed to reach the hiking area - you are already there!

Each apartment is furnished with all comforts. In addition to the existing apartments, 3 new 3 ½ room apartments have been created, which are distinguished by the luxury that both bedrooms have their own bath/WC. Weisshorn can only be reached by cable-car from Mörel - Riederalp Mitte. Luggage transportation from the cable-car station to the apartment is available on request.
