An extensive hiking trail network with attractive Suonen trails (as explanation: a so-called Suon means a small stream) belongs to Unterbächs highlights in summer. A suspension bridge has been added to the offer since 2022. On hot days, the small play and bathing lake "Seepark Augstbord" offers the longed-for cooling.

With the chairlift you can reach the Brandalp from the village in a short time at 1600 m above sea level.

But even bikers will get everything they need.

It’s just a 5-minute walk to the ski resort, which is guaranteed to have snow and reaches an altitude of 2,500 metres above sea level; it’s particularly popular with families with children, not least because of the rare queues. The Unterbäch Ski and Snowboard School has qualified instructors who will be happy to help you improve your skiing and snowboarding skills. The ‘Swiss Snow Kids Village’ features a magic carpet, seesaws, jumps and rails, as well as a ski carousel.

Thanks to its convenient location, Unterbäch is also an ideal starting point for excursions.

The apartment house Weisshorn is located in a wonderful, quiet spot in the car-free village of Riederalp, at 1,950 metres above sea level. Within walking distance of 5 minutes you find the cabel-car station and ski lifts, a Coop supermarket, the bakery, the ski school meeting point, a golf course and a funpark with crazy golf.

Every apartment of high standing, furnished in a modern, alpine style offers comfortable, spacious accommodation with an open plan kitchen and living room with TV. Most apartments feature a balcony. A ski- and bike storage room is at your disposal in the building.

Weisshorn can only be reached by cable-car from Mörel - Riederalp Mitte. Luggage transportation from the cable-car station to the apartment is available on request.

Guesthouse Berggeist offers quality accommodation in an ideal location in Saas-Fee, without unnecessary services and at reasonable prices. 

We focus on the essentials. Our spacious rooms are all equipped with a fridge and an electric kettle, as well as free Wi-Fi. Free tea is available in our Service Corner in the staircase.

 We do not offer breakfast. Upon prior reservation, it is possible to have breakfast at the neighboring Hotel Les Amis (limited availability). The bakery across the street is open daily from 6am.

Check-in is online and you can get your key from the key box or at the reception in Hotel Les Amis.

We try to work only with local products, starting with Swiss wine which comes directly from the surrounding cellars, cheese from the Valais pastures, Swiss beef. Indeed, the Valais specialties are highlighted, including a wide choice of fondues, a oven baked cheese on bread or simply the traditional röstis, you can only enjoy it.

Authenticity, simplicity and warmth are a few words that define our restaurant!

The building is equipped with an elevator and a large car park, wifi, but also a meeting room that can accommodate around 20 people. Banquets can be organized on request.

Geographic location

Just 3 km from the center of Crans Montana and all its amenities, Le Petit Paradis is a few meters from the funicular stop to easily get you to the resort or to Sierre. In addition to Bluche, the diversity in dining experience, the restaurant of Petit Paradis offers traditional swiss cuisine, there is also an Italian restaurant with its open kitchen where the pasta is homemade and finally a traditional Japanese restaurant with Japanese chefs.
